The molten flame blends into the dim light of the sun's setting. Kadzait raises her head and howls. [/i]Oh, Twilight, what will we do?
Never before has a Moonless Meeting brought such distress and death to the wolven forest. Liquid flame explodes from Firerocks, and with it, an impenetrable union of smoke and ash that appeared and shadowed the sun, flooding the mountains with fear. A plethora of wolves claim to be sighting nightmarish shaodws that walk amongst the rotting death and burning flame, bringing with them more of it.
"Death will flow
So crush the flame
Don't be so slow"
"Teeth will tear
And claws will clash
Amidst the flare
And the ash"
"And seven will be born
And even more pelts
Will be torn"

xxIntroduction
Eternal Sunshine is a unique and dedicated role-play. Though we may not have many members at the time, I am wholly confident that we will soon, and that our members will be as commited to Eternal Sunshine as I am. Generally, we are much like other role-plays- but in turn, we are so very different.
We consist of four different packs, each with their own personality, own story, and own order.
The first is Vengeance, named after the first leader- Revenge. Different from most, Mountain Wolves (the reputation name for this pack) are strange and seek relationships within their own pack and, to other packs, are colder than the tops of the mountains where they live. A true Mountain Wolf enjoys the heavy use of sarcasm and is well-thought and risk-taking. Mysterious and courageous, they go around looking for and usually finding adventure. Most of the time a wolf from the Vengeance will not risk their life for a stranger, but he will risk it for a friend or packmate, because, deep inside, he knows that it is the right thing to do. Most of these wolves are tricky in battle and are easily beaten if they are fighting a smart wolf- they will usually go with brawn instead of brains and most of the time they don't take crap from any wolf. They never let any others hold them back from what they set their mind to and will usually always be respected, giving deep thought to the well-being of themselves and their pack, though sometimes a heart will twinge for another pack as they fight. It never gets in the way of how well they fight, though.
The next is Twilight, nicknamed the Starry Pack because of their strange and deep-in-thought attitude, like the time of twilight. Many of the wolves are sweet and outgoing but mysterious and foreboding, scary to be around, and seemingly knowing everything and anything that goes on around them, mostly because of their great attention to detail. Other traits associated with the Twilight is that Starry's only trust those closest to them, and even saying that, many of them never give away their secrets at all. They easily sympathize and think things over before going through with it. They are the deep-thinking, open-minded pack and are proud to be it. A lot of their wolves can be touchy and pessimistic instead of push-over-easy-going and optimistic, but that can sometimes be a good thing- they are rarely depressed and are not like over-easy eggs and will not mold into the shape that others want them to be pushed into, or more easily explained, opinionated.
The third pack is named Wanderer, for their ways. This pack is never in one place for more than a quarter-moon-cycle, and I suppose they will always be that way. They are mostly unusually sweet and helpful, though they mostly keep away from Moonless Nights and Fullmoon Meetings with the leaders. Strength and ignorance flows through their blood, pulsing with rage or throbbing with the pain of being different. Wovles of Wanderer do not usually think more than give instructions to themselves. Aim up, for the ear! Look, that's his weak spot! You missed, you- no, keep going. Though this may not be the way to be optimistic, it seems to work for these mixed breeds. Wolves of Wanderer are misunderstood and seem to be the most frightening pack of all- you never know when they might feel like battle, and their overly-exceptional night vision seems to agitate even the bravest of the Deresive Family.
The last pack and my favorite pack is called the Derezive Pack, called Deresive after their first leader, Derezive. Derezive was brave, strong, and had fortitude- lots of it. He had enough to share with his packmates, and that line of fortitude has been passed down through the generations. Many are selfless and will help and guide others before helping themselves enters their mind. With the need of thrill, they are by far the most entertaining pack of them all, humorous and comedy-loving. Compassion and trustworthiness are undying traits that run through this pack of brothers, whether related or not- you can always trust a Deresive wolf to keep his word to his last breath or take a secret to the grave. If you were to study them carefully, it would seem that they have no weakness- but only the Twilight pack can truly seek out the relationship between the Deresive Family...
xxPhysical Traits
The physical traits vary much in these packs, as much as they vary in persona. Let's start with the Vengeance. Vengeance wolves are sleek and skinny, looking like they emerged from the water just moments ago. With their exceptionally large paws and large ears, they are better at slipping through the woods, listening for prey and intruders. Their fur is usually dark, darker grey than the other wolves.
Twilight wolves are a different story. A Starry will be just that- black pelt against burning, sharp yellow eyes that look like stars. Occasionally a Starry will have white flecks throughout his or her fur. They are usually built thick and long, sitting lower to the ground. Having this trait means that they are not very fast- but they are better at escaping than most.
All Wanderer wolves have one thing in common- they have nothing in common. They could be red, brown, black, grey, or patched in a dog-like pelt, but there are never to colors, eyes, or shapes alike. They are mixed and proud to be so, as I may have already mentioned.
Most Deresive wolves are large and have long legs, all the better for running away and chasing after. Their unusually large paws make it better for her to grasp the ground as they run. Deresive wolves have a look about them and their blue eyes that make them seem bright yet frightening, and I suppose that is all for the better.
xxRules
To keep things running smoothly, we must have a few ground rules laid out for one. If you fail to see the significance of these rules and break them, we will either warn you, ban you for one day, or ban you forever. Breaking rules isn't a favorite of mine, so I'm quite strict on that. A few rules:
No graphic, anti-semestic, racist, rude or sexual content is allowed on this website. This means no jokes about Jews, blacks, or any other sort of anti-religion/skin colour. I'm German, and if any Jews have a problem with that then be my guest and have your account deleted, thank you very much.
I tend to be a bit straight-forward, so try not to get hurt too much by what I say. I don't tell little white lies to make people feel better, and I revolve much around the saying 'Tough luck, dollface.' But otherwise, I am friendly and cheerful, but you don't get around much with me in the way next.
Stealing the work of others and claiming it as your own is unnacceptable also. The consiquences are a warning the first time, stripping of your powers if you have any) and then a ban.
Keep swearing, cussing, or whatever you like to call profanities to a minimum. Obviously, there are younger members on this site, so try not to use them, even though they are accepted. Also keep in mind that cursing at any member on this site will result in a warning and/or ban.
Spamming and double-posting annoys everyone, especially me. Spamming can range from taking a thread about sports and then posting, 'Anyone see the new Grey's Anatomy episode?', or posting innapropriate images or stupid ones in your own thread or in others. Spammers are banned by IP address, e-mail, and username. Double-posting is self explanatory.
Be polite and respectful. Not just to the staff, but to our members too. I try to make everyone feel welcomed, but I need your help for that. Also, please refrain from flaming anyone in public for no reason or a stupid reason. Actually, we would prefer it if you didn't bash at all. If you have issues with another member contact me or one of the other admins for help so that you can bash/flame them in a password protected board. Like I said, we'd prefer if you didn't do it at all.
(IC Posts) There is a NO ONE LINERS post rule. Please make sure that all of your sentaces make sense, and you're not just fitting them in to make sure that you don't break this rule! We also have a word count box if you need it.
No chatspeak/leetspeak in role-playing. No leetspeak in out of character. In the chatbox, sure, but elsewhere, it's a big no-no.
Please listen to the admins. If they tell you that you need to have role-play tutoring, just go in for one session, see how it is, and decide from there. Please?
Auto-hitting characters, god-modeling characters, and power-playing characters are not acceptable. Auto-hitting is automatically hitting your opponent in battle. God modeling is becoming invincible, or being unable to be hurt. Your cat has to die sometime in life! Power-playing is using another members character without their permission. All three will result in a warning, a second warning (and/or stripping of any powers that you may posess), then a week long ban without warning.
Please, no lying about this website. For instance, if you say something like, 'This role-play is inactive' anywhere on the internet, I swear I will track you down and ruin your website, something I have done before...
Inactivity is a big thing here. If you join and don't post for a week, I'll e-mail you. If you fail to return, I'll delete you. If you are inactive for two weeks without telling us ahead of time there is a chance that your account will be deleted without warning.
Basically, anything that violates Proboards TOS violates my rules. If you are interested, here is the link: http://www.proboards.com/tos.html
Something that I've always hated, always will hate, and that is a promise I will keep. If you plagarise anything from this website, directly or indirectly, without giving a link to where it came from and without asking me first you'd better believe that I will track you down and sue you for all you've got, d**n it. Sorry for my talk, but you'd better know a good lawyer if you wish to copy anything, directly or indirectly, from this site. Thank you very much.

One high-rank is good enough for me, so it should be good enough for you. If a leader or deputy or any other high-ranking member is unactive for a month, that high-ranking member shall be delcared dead and whoever is ready to take the place to become that member.
Like I said, no chat-speak, leek-speak.
No raping. It's disgusting and unfathomably gross to read.
No graphic mating or births. There are young people on this website, members! Keep it to a simple 'mysterious' walkabout or just say that she gave birth to three healthy kits, blah blah blah...
Murdering another member's character without permission results in an immediate ban without warning. Otherwise the site goes into ruins because that member- murderee- has bashed/flamed the murderer publicly. Not very pleasant.
If someone's getting queasy, take it down a notch, please. I couldn't care less if you say 'Blood poured from the wound and entrails could be seen through a thin sheen of skin' but if someone's feeling sick... Well, you know. We don't want anyone ruining a computer just because they are getting graphic.
Keep your similies, metaphors, and language realistic to the website. We wolves don't call our peers 'idiots'. Instead, we may call them 'fox-hearted... hyenas' or something weird like that. Dunno. Be creative!
Make sure that your characters personality is adjustable to the situation and the ranking. A tyro is more likely to question what an Alpha or senior warrior says because he or she hasn't learned a ton yet, than a warrior unless he or she is looking for trouble.
Please make sure that your one character isn't at a battle in the ravine, helping a lost pup, and having a drama-queen attack with a friend or relative all at the same time. It's confusing and not at all realistic.
Unless given the okay by any admin or you have signed up for a plot which requires other species of animal, please do not try and make any other type of animal besides a wolf/human.
The codeword can be found in the underlined letters throughout these RULES threads. Please re-read it if you have not found these letters, because you will need them for the password to the biographies section and the codeword for your biography. Start with Rules, then go to Safety. Thanks!
xxClosing
Well, if anyone has any questions, PM me (admin ^-^) or post them in the FAQs thread, 'Questions?'. I know that this may seem like a lot, but use your common sense and don't try to memorize this entire lot of words, exactly, let me see, 2000 words. I hope you enjoy being a member of Eternal Sunshine, & I hope you follow these rules because my fingers seriously hurt after typing all those words!

Hi I would really love to join your site but I can't access the wolf creation center. I typed in fora&fauna but it still won't work. What am I doing wrong?

Hey, Guest. And I believe it's flora&fauna. But I'm taking off the password protection anyway, and replacing it with a codeword, since I've found that way is more effective.
