The molten flame blends into the dim light of the sun's setting. Kadzait raises her head and howls. [/i]Oh, Twilight, what will we do?
Never before has a Moonless Meeting brought such distress and death to the wolven forest. Liquid flame explodes from Firerocks, and with it, an impenetrable union of smoke and ash that appeared and shadowed the sun, flooding the mountains with fear. A plethora of wolves claim to be sighting nightmarish shaodws that walk amongst the rotting death and burning flame, bringing with them more of it.
"Death will flow
So crush the flame
Don't be so slow"
"Teeth will tear
And claws will clash
Amidst the flare
And the ash"
"And seven will be born
And even more pelts
Will be torn"
This is where you can find all of the rules- mind you, you must read the rules to find the codeword for your biography and the password to the biography board.
Here you can find accepted biographies, characters up for adoption, and pregnant wolves and ask to adopt pups ahead of the time of birth. Have fun and express yourself!
Here the staff will post any important announcements, such as a new rule, or a new code that makes our website, well, more flashy or useful to our members. [ b]Subboards[/b] Suggestions
Originally I had no idea what this was, but now I know! Here you can post any concerns that may have to do with a certain staff member or you can talk to one of the staff about concerns or just to chat with a friendly advisor!
/Why do the staff have their own private room? a) because we're AWESOME! and b) so we can gossip about members talk about concerns and the plot c)... well, those really are the two only reasons.
Are you talented in writing or drawing? Do you want construction critisism on a certain painting, drawing, or graphic that you recently made? Post it here and you'll get feedback from our members! Try doing that with tact, please- no hurt feelings!
If you have a suggestion for a plot, a suggestion for a code, or any other type of thought that begins as 'I suggest' or 'What if you were to...' then post it here, no matter how nutty you think it sounds!
Come here to chat with other members or join another role-play, like a fantasy or a Twilight-themed one, and if you don't like any of them, start your own.
Gentle pawsteps patter as the dog meanders along, checking amongst the members of his pack. The pups' tongues loll out of their mouths as they continue to live in their innocent life. Or maybe not so innocent. The Alpha must size these pups up for future use. For when he is old, they will still be young and strong. The Junkyard is exactly what it says- it is a junkyard, overflowing with lots of interesting stuff. The Vengeance lives here.
Slowly, the dogs of Vengeance slip silently into the lab, one by one. The scientist who ran it is long gone, and are is handouts and helpful hand. Now, the sadness of his death settles over the place like a foreboding prophecy. They say that sometimes, as you enter this dark, frightening room, with shelves taller than you are and cabinets labled 'DANGER!', you can see the ghost of the poor old Professor, who was shot one night by a young gang member.
Why certainly, if you can look at it that way, I suppose that the abandoned construction site may hold beauty for some. It certainly is fun for young tyros to come wandering around here, searching for birds, or other prey that might wander here. The abandoned site is a great place for tyros to have fun. The old building skeleton is still standing, and the great Demolishing Ball is fun to swing on.
This valley, soft, green, and quite marvelous, belongs to a pack of wolves also. Flowers bloom here in the spring and summer, and trees blossom. In the winter, a thick layer of snow blankets the grass, though if you were to dig deep down, you would find that the grass is as green as ever. This is a dream place to live, though it has it's dangers- rabbit holes, trick spots, and a heck of a long fall down the hill.
The lake is a deep, cirular used-to-be ravine, lousy with fish, alge, and other lake life. A small patch of wood rests around it, all pine trees, so that when you pad lazily down to get a drink of water, or hurriedly gallop toward the lake to get some water for a sick pup, your paws hit the ground silently. Any sound is muffled by the pineneedles on the forest ground.
North of the Forest Lake, created by the paws of the Starlight Realm, many hills flow serenely over the land, covered with rocks and grass. In the middle, there is a Highest Hill. Highest Hill is a place where you can see for miles, all the way from Deserive Pack to the Vengeance. On one of the smaller hills to the outside, Lowest Hill, you can see the sun set and rise on a good day.
Here is where the wolves of the Wanderer Pack live, hidden deep inside one of these dark, dry caves. Rock formations shaped like cones hang from the cieling and after a rain, water drips off of them, the drops echoing into the darkness.
Everywhere you look, deep green pine trees tower above your head, and your pawsteps are silent as you pad through the forest. The pine needles cushion your feet, making this an ideal place for hunting and training, though there are not many animals suitable for eating that live in this forest...
These caves are where Storm shares dreams with their Guardian ancestors, a select few who have branched off from the Twilight Realm and entered the Abyss of Eternal Sunshine. Where, of course, there is no sunlight at all...
These dark mountains that everything cowers under are the home to the darkest Pack of them all- Storm. Towering pines and oaks cover the ground in the summer, but in the winter, a thick layer of white coveres everything- everything above, anyway. The wolves of Storm are not harmed nor affected by the snow. The trees take the worst of it, leaving the prey to live freely. It seems like the worst place to live, but in fact, it is the best.
Why Storm wanted this dead thing is beyond most wolves. But trust me, they have a reason. Because Storm has a reason for everything and anything. this forest is dead- it was burned down by a forest fire long ago, and nothing has grown back ever since. It is the Twilight Realm's doing. There are many stories that circulate about these wolves and their burnt forest, caves, and mountains.
